Dedication

This website is dedicated in loving memory of my great grandmother Maxine Claryce Scotton Schrepel. It was she and my many wonderful great grand aunts and uncles of the Johnson clan that sparked my interest in genealogy.

Purpose

The purpose of this site is to share the progress of my genealogical research, and memorabilia with family and friends. It also is a way to immortalize the memory of my ancestors.

All of the family lines represented in this website end up in Texas. However, not every individual in this site was born, died, or even lived in Texas, but at least one of their decendants did or does.

Oh the Lone Star State of Texas

Land of the prairies, mountains and lakes,

Canyons, valleys, brush and cactus,

Home of many small claims and greats.

Home of the joyous mocking bird,

Land of the beauteous bluebonnet

Home range of the thundering herd

And many wonders we will ne'r forget.

Texas the state of many brags

Many forests and treeless plains,

Winding rivers that follow and zags

In the state of large and small fames.

Give me Texas , the Lone Star State ,

Among friendly people you are Welcome

The Texas hospitality is great

Where everyone calls out “Y'all Come.”
